Objectives

The interdisciplinary Workshop aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences gained while developing and testing elements of Virtual Reality Environments for Medicine.
The general objective of the VRRM 2007 is the promotion of international collaboration in the field of medicine, technology, engineering and computer science/IT&C. The Workshop VRRM provides an International Forum for researchers, engineers, professors, medical scientists and technologists in the areas of Medicine, Science and Technology. It will be an excellent opportunity to present, demonstrate and discuss research, development, applications, and the latest innovations and results in the field of Health, Rehabilitation Medicine and IT Industry.

The scope of the Workshop includes, but is not limited to the following topics:

• Virtual Reality Hardware and Modeling
• Real-time Programming, Telerehabilitation
• VR Assets for Mental Health and Rehabilitation
• Virtual Rehabilitation Post-Stroke, VR Neuropsychology
• Virtual Rehabilitation for Phobias/PTSD/Addictions
• AeL, e-Learning platform and Academic platform AeL LMS (Learning Management System)
• INTUITION Project - INTUITION is Network Of Excellence focused on virtual reality and virtual environments applications for future workspaces
