New and easier way to submit press releases for companies and individuals at VResources.org

We have received many requests to simplify the press release and news submission process at VResources. Indeed, many companies use Email lists to submit their latest press release to multiple information sources such as VResources.org. With this in mind, VResources now supports receiving news announcements and press releases directly from emails.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Only posts related to subjects related to this web site will be considered and published. Subjects that will be considered must be related to virtual reality, 3D, simulations and other related topics. Posts not related to these subjects will be rejected.

To use this service, the interested parties have to do the following:

The following must be done only once:

register an account (free) on VResources.org
give a valid Email address for that account
reply to a verification Email the first time you submit a news item (see below)

Each time you have something new to submit:

send a plain text formatted Email to news@vresources.org (HTML content will be filtered and converted to plain text, plain text is recommended to ensure the best formatting results)
the Email address that you use to send the news or PR has to match the one you registered in your VResources account. Emails sent from unregistered users will be rejected.
the subject of the Email should be the news or press release title
an image can be added to the header of the news text. To do so, insert "[img] http://your.imgurlhere" at the beginning of the Email body.
you can specify the news source by inserting "[source] http://yoursourceurlhere" at the beginning of the Email body.
Attachments will be discarded so ensure that the news content is in the Email body.

We hope that you will find this new service useful.

Note: As with all forms of content submissions on VResources, the news item sent by Email will be put on hold for approval by the VResources staff. Your news item will be visible online once approved.
